Retirement – It’s
might not be what you think, it's much better.
Reasons to retire! Is that a question? Do people really ask if
they need reasons to retire! Yes, understandably! A resent article
in AARP expressed retirement as a new beginning, a new time for
new activities. As someone once said, “to rediscover my inner
child.” And you know what? Retirement-4-U agrees! Retirement
is great, with many things to do, many things to discover, many
challenges to fulfill your physical and mental needs.
Today, retirement is changing rapidly. There is a new, much more
vital vision of retirement as a beginning, not an ending. AARP
did a survey recently showing that 2 out of 3 people, 50 years
and over view this phase of life as a time to begin a new chapter,
start
new activities and set new goals.
Gone is the definition of retirement “to quit working or
to withdraw." Across the nation, growing numbers of people in their
50s, 60s, and 70s are working new careers or businesses. These
folks are taking classes, teaching, volunteering and caring for
their grandkids. As a matter of fact, grandparents are spending
over $30 billion a year on their grandchildren.
So, the next time someone asks, “Why should I retire? What
will I do with the time?” You can tell them to read the list
