Retirement Planning
Here's a way to save money — Did you know that buying prescription drugs from a licensed Canadian pharmacists almost always saves 40 to 90 percent of US drugstore prices. In spite of what the FDA would like you to believe, it’s not only cheap, but also safe and dependable. Even the FDA admits that they’ve found no evidence of any American ever sickened or who died from prescriptions filled by a Canadian pharmacy.
Nor is it strictly illegal to buy in Canada if you are purchasing for your own use with a US doctor’s prescription from a licensed Canadian pharmacist. [See FDA Advisory HFC-170, 4/3/98.] Over a million of us do just that. No one has been arrested yet.
Lee Trevino once said, "There are two things that are not long for this world - dogs that chase cars and pro golfers who chip for pars." We believe there are three important areas in addressing retirement. Financial, which everyone is aware of, mental health, meaning keep your mind active in retirement and last but not least, taking care of your body which is the temple of your mind, your physical health. Having one without the others is paramount to "chasing cars."
Did you know that a 65-year-old man, has about a 30 percent chance of living to age 90 and a 4 percent chance of hitting the century mark. The odds for women are higher. And the chances that at least one member of a couple who are both about 65 being around at age 90 or 100 are higher yet. Those figures put a strong importance on retirement planning! The good news is we will live longer and with the correct planning, live happier...........
This weekends football game in New England was GREAT. Nothing better than a game played outdoors, on REAL turf and in the snow.......... How about all football games be played outdoors, like it was meant to be played. Hey, what about having the superbowl played at the home of the best record of the two superbowl teams.
Well, the weather was a little cold, and a little wet but the golf was great. Golfed with two people that I just met, Ron and Jim. One of the best things about the game of golf is you can go to the course and meet great people, play a round of golf and share a few stories. This weekend will be the Sony Open and then FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL......... Have a great weekend.
Haven't had the time to write in the blog since we have changed directions in programming language for our new retirement planning and forecasting software.. So tomorrow I am going to do a little golfing. Hey, I deserve the break and besides, I need to "recharge the battery," so to speak.
I hope your team won this last weekend. Like many of you I spent the time watching football, football, and football. When I wasn't watching football, I was watching golf............. Hard life but someone has to do it.
Anyway, today starts a new week at www.Retirement-4-u.com and we have changed direction on development of our Retirement Forecasting software. More news to come but I can tell you our new approach will allow for all OS systems, be browser based and much more user-friendly.
Well, Mac Expo is blast. Lots of software to try out, GREAT digital cameras, wonderful booths to try new products and learn different software programs. And guess what, Apple as a cool, new Ipod that is very small and still holds 1000's of songs............. And no, I don't work for Apple, but as you can tell, I am having fun, fun, fun............
Hey Blaine - tell us a fishing story..............
It's off to Mac Expo this week. Even though I am off Mac's and on the Windows platform I still like to attend Mac Expo and try out the new software, digital cameras etc......... One of the best things about retirement is setting my own schedules and timelines. If I get a chance I will let you know what's happening...........Have a good day!
Well, it's been a few days since I have submitted a blog.. Must be winding down from the holidays. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and here's to a GREAT new year. We have been having quite a bit of rain these last few days but today is sunny and the skies are clear. I think it's time to go out and play some golf. Talk with you soon.
