Spent the last couple of days shopping for last-minute christmas gifts. There were a lot of people and there seem to be a lot of rushing around but everyone was friendly and full of christmas spirit. I don't shop much during the year so shopping during the christmas season has always been a joy. However, I am finished with my shopping and ready to sit in front of the fire place and enjoy christmas with my family and friends. Happy holidays to one and all..............  ¶ 9:18 AM

  Had a wonderful trip yesterday. One of the benefits of being retired. (Or semi-retired) Anyway, took a drive through northen California and into southern Oregon. Beautiful country with the new snow, clear skies and clean air, AND, the best thing is no traffic since I was driving during mid week.  ¶ 2:57 PM

"A successful retirement plan is a plan where your expenses don't exceed your income." When you get down to it, it's not how much money you have, rather how much money you are going to spend.
